Daniel came up with the idea for the song back in 2001. The first lyrics were wrote by him in English, but when I started working on a demo at home, I kind of felt that the lyrics would go well in Portuguese and so it became. We had always in mind that this song should sound something like Teenage Fanclub and would be sang by a girl, but we just could not find one at the time. It took 23 years for us to finally find the girl to sing it and for that demo to be properly recorded. And now it’s on.
