“Storm in the End” is likely the oldest composition ever recorded by Sodapop. In fact, it was written nearly a decade before the band itself was formed, around the turn of the millennium, so it’s a song from the early 1990s. Like many other songs by Sodapop, it was created somewhat accidentally, as one of the founding members practiced basic fingerpicking techniques on the acoustic guitar during his teenage years. Influenced at the time by grunge bands like Pearl Jam and Temple of the Dog, Storm evolved and transformed over the years into the recording you’re listening to now.
